In late 2014, with over 18 different products for payers, providers and consumers, Edifecs came to a point where not having a central design system was creating gaps in experience and slowing down the output of the product teams. The design team undertook ~ 6 month excercise to revisit our principles, do a deep dive into (non) existing system, understand various patterns and create a roadmap to revamp the design language. The outcome was two folds - (1) A reimagined brand language and, (2) A design system for various products and experiences.
